If you look closely, you will notice that this pigeon does not have its toes in one foot, yet is not any weaker than the rest of the pigeons in pecking around a chicken piece I shared with him. This is the 3rd time I saw this pigeon at the Paramatta train station and this time could not help feeding him.
Notice, how the other pigeon that comes by takes over this piece of food the toe-less pigeon watches patiently! And the other pigeon unintentionally pushes it back to the toe-less pigeon again! What simply comes to my mind is a bible verse which I quote
"Look at the birds in the sky. They don't plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren't you?" Mark 6:26.
Well what Jesus meant to say here is that, our heavenly father who watches over even these little birds would always care and provide for us as we are his precious children he loves utmost!
